On the Road with Allstate Protection Plans: Investing in Member Growth Across Nationwide Marketing Group

Through a flexible mix of store visits, virtual coaching sessions, and interactive sales bootcamps, Allstate partners with dealers to strengthen associate performance, drive program growth, and maximize attach rates. Since 2008, the Allstate team has helped retailers navigate challenging market conditions at both the national and local levels, enabling them to reach their attach rate potential. As a result, some retailers have more than doubled their attach rates.

In April 2026, Mountain High Appliance participated in a half-day Allstate Protection Plans bootcamp, where they practiced roleplaying exercises, refined their sales pitch, and learned techniques for overcoming common customer objections. Following the bootcamp, Mountain High Appliance achieved a 17 percent lift in year-to-date (YTD) protection plan attach rate, demonstrating how targeted training can translate into measurable results. Regarding the training, Susan Ahmad, Retail Sales Manager at Mountain High Appliance, shared:

"The feedback from our team was overwhelmingly positive. They left the session feeling energized, more confident in their conversations around warranty, and equipped with practical tools they could immediately take back to their showrooms and implement with their customers."

Most recently, Allstate led a 21-location training blitz as part of Canales Furniture's company-wide launch of Allstate Protection Plans, including a 40-person training at the retailer's headquarters in Fort Worth, TX. The training was designed to ensure associates understood the program's features and benefits, so they felt confident offering Allstate Protection Plans to customers starting on day one.
