What motivates you to get up and go to work for the Independent retailer every day?
I’m passionate about helping Independent retailers thrive on their own terms.
Tell us about your role at NMG.
I’m a consultant for 103 of the best Independent retailers in Washington and Oregon, helping them take advantage of the right programs, products and services so that they can be successful in their home markets.
Why did you want to come work at NMG?
NMG is the buying group that Frederick’s has been a part of for a very long time. Although I did not know the depth of what NMG offered, I knew it was a great company from my time in retail. So when the opportunity presented itself, I was excited to join the team.
Why do you think NMG is the best buying group for Independent retailers in today’s climate?
NMG has many layers, all of which are geared toward helping Members. We are delivering the best-in-class information to help business owners navigate during these trying times.
What is the most important project you are working on right now, and why?
Helping Members improve their websites. Having a strong digital presence is especially important in today’s environment.
What is your favorite memory from your time at NMG?
My first PrimeTime in Houston in February 2020. Not only did I get to meet so many teammates and vendors, but I really enjoyed spending time with my Members and learning more about their businesses.
