Prior to joining Nationwide, I was with DSI Systems Inc., as the VP of Sales from March 1985 to June 2015 (30 years and four months). I worked towards sales goals and managing branch operations for up to 10 locations throughout the eastern part of the country and all branches with personnel up to 75 employees.

What motivates you to get up and go to work for the Independent retailer every day?
I love working with the Independent retailers. My motivation to get up and go to work is the desire working and helping our Independent’s grow their businesses. The service and personal touch the Independent provides is priceless.
Tell us about your role at NMG.
I’m the MSM for Ohio and Michigan. My number-one goal everyday is to service each of my Members and help them grow their businesses to the next level. I provide NMG services and benefits that will help them achieve their next level of growth.
Why did you want to come work at NMG?
I work for NMG because the talent the group has within the organization. The NMG team is very talented and the Members within the group are all very important and the service NMG provides each Member makes them the best group in the market for the Independent retailer to grow their business. I love my job and look forward to going to work everyday.
Why do you think NMG is the best buying group for Independent retailers in today’s climate?
There is no other Group in the market today that does everything NMG does when providing the excellent service to the Independent retailers. NMG sincerely cares about each Member and the success of each Member.
What is the most important project you are working on right now, and why?
I have a lot of important projects I work on daily but in today’s world it’s making sure each of my Members have a top notch website and have the best digital marketing platform possible to compete in today’s environment.
What is your favorite memory from your time at NMG?
I have a lot of favorite memories, but the memories that really stand out are the PrimeTime shows. The PrimeTime shows are provided for the NMG Members twice per year. The training classes the Members receive are the very best in today’s world, which is so important. Google and digital marketing classes are my favorites with their constantly changing environments of how to go to market in a digital-first retail environment.
What do you like most about your job?
My favorite part of my job is helping my Members grow their business. Watching my Members adjust to today’s environment and accomplishing their goals.
What else do you want people to know about you and NMG?
The talent and structure NMG provides for the Independent retailer is way beyond the best service for Independent retailers today. There is no other Group that provides the service and expertise NMG does. From top management, the Merchant teams, the digital marketing team, top notch website providers like RWS and the MSM team. I am an MSM, and the relationships with my Members and the consist support I provide to my Members is all a credit to NMG for giving me and my Members that opportunity. I am always available for my Members and always looking forward to talking to my Members to help them in anyway I can to help them be successful.
