New program to launch Aug. 1, with PrimeTime orders to be delivered in December

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C. – Nationwide Marketing Group and Flexsteel Industries, Inc. announced today that they are joining forces to create a new line of motion upholstery furniture exclusively for Nationwide members. The program, which features an extensive product line ranging from power sofas to multi-media gaming chairs, will launch Aug. 1.

Charlie Winans, Flexsteel’s national sales director for home furnishings, says the partnership is a natural fit for both companies and will provide tremendous opportunities for new business growth.

“Nationwide Marketing Group is the largest buying group in the country, and Flexsteel is one of the largest home furnishings supplierswith a whole-home product assortment, multiple manufacturing facilities, and 126 years of history providing great customer service,” Winans says. “It just makes sense for these two organizations to join forces to provide retail stores with the highest quality products and support to be successful. In fact, many of Nationwide’s member stores already feature Flexsteel furniture, which means these valued retail partners will now be able to take advantage of the long list of benefits that Nationwide provides to help grow their Flexsteel business.”

Nationwide members will be able to start ordering these new products at PrimeTime beginning Aug. 20, with orders expected to arrive in-store in December.

“As one of the industry’s leading furniture manufacturers, Flexsteel is constantly evolving to ensure its products always offer the highest quality and most stylish design,” says Jeff Rose, Nationwide’s director of furniture and bedding. “This partnership aligns with our premium strategy, giving our members the opportunity to differentiate themselves by offering an exclusive Flexsteel product line. We’re excited to introduce this program at Las Vegas Market and can’t wait to unveil the products at PrimeTime this August.”
