As part of its continuing commitment to support the independent integrator community, Nationwide Marketing Group announced today that industry veteran Andy Orozco has joined the group as its new Senior Vice President of Custom Integration (CI). Orozco most recently served as Vice President of Business Development for ProSource Buying Group.

“Throughout his long and distinguished career, Andy has proven to be an influential leader and advocate for the custom electronics and installation channel,” says Tom Hickman, President and Chief Member Advocate for Nationwide Marketing Group. “As we continue to expand our CI offering – both for our existing members and those integrators who need additional support for their businesses – Andy’s tenacity and expertise will help solidify our position as the nation’s premier group for the custom integration channel.”

Orozco got his start in the channel as a Retail Product Sales Trainer for Hitachi Home Electronics before moving into district, regional and national sales. He joined the Home Entertainment Source (HES) as a Regional Manager in 2006 and then spent seven years as the organization’s Director of Communications. After HES merged with the PRO Group in 2014 to create ProSource, Orozco was named Director of Business Development, a position he held until 2018, when he was promoted to Vice President.

All of these experiences, Orozco says, helped prepare him for his transition to Nationwide Marketing Group.

“I have always admired the work of Nationwide Marketing Group, Azione Unlimited and Home Technology Specialists Nationwide (HTSN) and look forward to working with the team to explore new opportunities for the integrator channel,” Orozco says. “As we look at the CI landscape, there are so many CI dealers who can benefit from the digital, marketing and distribution support that Nationwide Marketing Group offers. I’m excited to start further developing and growing this division and helping all those unserved dealers thrive on their own terms.”

Richard Glikes, Chief Executive Officer and President of Azione Unlimited – which merged with Nationwide Marketing Group in October 2021 – echoed Hickman’s comments and said he was thrilled at the prospect of collaborating with Orozco.

“I have known Andy for many years, since his earliest days at Hitachi Home Electronics, and consider him to be a great friend,” Glikes says. “I am excited to begin working closely with him in this new role and continuing the collective efforts of Nationwide Marketing Group, Azione Unlimited and HTSN to become the dominant force in the CI industry.”

Orozco will be part of the Nationwide Marketing Group team attending CEDIA Expo 2022, September 26 – October 1 in Dallas, Texas. The group’s booth (#31117) will feature a fully integrated Tiny Home, and visiting integrators will have a chance to learn more about the benefits of Nationwide’s CI vertical while also entering to win an all-expenses paid cruise through the Gulf of Mexico (valued at $3,500).
