As fears of an economic recession continue to linger, Whirlpool is helping Independent retailers plan and prepare by focusing on the distress appliance purchase. Bob Salvano, Whirlpool’s VP / General Manager, Independent Retail & Builder Sales and Marketing, shared more about the company’s efforts to support Independent retail, including a renewed focus on new and expanded product lines and robust sales and marketing support, as well as efforts to diversify the supplier network and bring the backorder position to pre-pandemic levels.
